On 14 September 1321, the greatest figure in Italian literature and the father of the Italian language Dante Alighieri passed away in city of Ravenna. To celebrate this giant of Italian culture on the 700th anniversary of his death, the Italian Culture Centre in New Delhi has collaborated with the theatre company Instabili Vaganti for the production of six short videos, and a video introduction, inspired by the work of the great poet. The project explores the universe of Dante with a work of investigation and collection of suggestions. The company collaborated with Indian dancer Anuradha Venkataraman, to explore the references to Indian mythology found in the Divine Comedy and the relationship between East and West.
