The Italian Embassy Cultural Centre in New Delhi was founded on 6th October, 1971. In 1973 it had its first independent building located in 38 Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar III.
In 2002, it was shifted to the new premises inside the compound of the Italian Embassy at Chandragupta Marg, in the Chanakyapuri area.
